Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo state, has been in the news for very good reasons recently, and has earned the praises of Nigerians.
The governor announced a few days ago that the school fees paid at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has been slashed by 25%.
Yesterday, he announced that the allowance which the state pays to National Youth Service Corps members would no longer be five thousand naira, but fifteen thousand naira.
This is a ray of sunshine for Oyo state Corp members, as the inflation rate in Nigeria hits the sky.
Nigerians have praised the governor for always looking out for his followers and making policies that are in their best interests.
They also hope that more leaders like Seyi Makinde spring out and make Nigeria a better place to live in.
