The alleged killer of Ini Umoren, a helpless job seeker, who met her untimely death after a trip to a location for a job interview, has been in the police net for a few weeks, and this case, according to Nigerians, is being manipulated.
Following the news, Nigerians have listened intelligently and have done their best in trying to fish out the culprit, as matters get really dicey.
They have linked Ini Umoren’s death to Uduak’s cousin.
Uduak’s cousin, Kufre Effiong has issued out an official statement clearing his name and hoping that he’s vindicated.
He made a detailed statement of how his name came to be in this case, saying that his father called his attention to the allegations against his cousin and also wanting for Uduak’s father to be released from police custody because of his ill health.
According to him, he facilitated the arrest of Uduak Akpan who later confessed to the Chairman and himself that he met with Ini and had eventually killed her.
Prior to this, Uduak denies vehemently that he ever saw Ini, and in fact, the last he heard of her was when she got to Ibiaku.
He also stated that he was devastated by this strange news that he gave him some slaps and was sobbing like he was related to her.
He wishes that Nigerians believe him and stop tagging him a seller of human parts. He also added that if anyone any evidence against him, they should kindly come forward with it.
