Does UNILAG Offer Nursing as a Course?
Yes, you can study Nursing as a course in UNILAG. UNILAG has a Department of Nursing Science under its College of Medicine. The Department was established in 2010 but didn’t start functioning until the following year. Visit the webpage of UNILAG’s Department of Nursing to learn more about the department.
What is the cut off mark for UNILAG?
UNILAG as one of Nigeria’s foremost Universities maintains a very high standard in its admission process. To stand a chance of gaining admission into UNILAG, you must be very sound academically. The cut-off mark for UTME candidates seeking admission is 200. If you don’t score at least 200 in UTME, you will not be invited for Post-UTME.
What are the Requirements to Enter UNILAG?
The following are the basic requirements to enter UNILAG.
A score of at least 200 in UTME
A 40% pass mark in Post-UTME
A candidate who doesn’t fulfill these two basic requirements stands no chance of gaining admission into UNILAG.
Here is how to calculate your aggregate score for UNILAG Screening.
The total score is 100% broken down as follows.
O’Level = 20%
UTME = 50%
Post-UTME = 30%
This means that your SSCE will account for 20% of your total score, UTME 50%, and Post-UTME 30%.
To calculate your O’Level score, pick your 5 core subjects, and score them based on grade obtained in each course as follow.
A1 = 4 points
B2 = 3.6 points
B3 = 3.2 points
C4 = 2.8 points
C5 = 2.4 points
C6 = 2.0 points
To determine your UTME score for the screening, divide your UTME score by 8. For example, if you scored 254 in UTME, your UTME score for UNILAG admission will be 31.75.
To determine your Post-UTME score for the screening, divide your Post-UTME score by 2. For example, if you scored 44 in UNILAG Post-UTME, your Post-UTME score for the screening will be 22.
