ASUU strike: Nigerian thespian, Mr. Macaroni appeals to the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) to agree on mutual grounds and allow students return to school as soon as possible.

This is following the declaration of the warning strike on February 14, 2022 after several failed attempts to get the government to meet up with their past agreements. ASUU held several meetings, including a one-day warning strike to mobilize members of the union and sensitize parents and students about the issues at stake to ensure that the strike doesn’t happen. However, the Federal Government paid no heed to them. This has pushed them to use the last available option which is a strike action.
